Electric Dreams of Tangerine
Electric dreams of tangerine
Come floating through my night, it seems
They fill my mind with strands of gold
And strange worlds from the days of old
My eyes behold a wondrous light
That fills my soul with sweet delight
Delight for things of mystery
And magic thoughts of blasphemy
But then, the light, it seems to fade
And thus, it ends my escapade
My journey into the unknown
Must flee before the morning comes
And I awake to just my room
Full of its monotonous gloom
But something in my memory gleams
A jewel of new and sacred scenes
So through my days, I wait for night
To feel it’s endless electric delight
